Saturday, August 23, 2014 27 Av 5774

9:00 AM - 12:30 PMMeet at Potawatomi Woods parking lot - on Dundee Road just east of Milwaukee.

Shabbat Morning Bike Ride and Torah Study, Saturday, August 23, 9:00am
Celebrate a summer Shabbat in the great outdoors! On Saturday morning, August 23, we will meet at 9:00 at the Cook County Forest Preserves parking lot - on the northeast corner of Willow Road and the Edens Expressway. We will greet the Shabbat morning and ride five miles north on the paved North Branch Trail, then stop for breakfast and coffee at the Chicago Botanic Garden. (Note that this is not the same route as last time.  Expected rain between now and then will, we think, make our earlier route somewhat muddy, so we are taking a different - and paved - route.)  There at the Botanic Garden, we will study some Torah, before returning to the parking lot by noon. Bring money for food and drink. All children must be accompanied by a parent.  See you then!
