Dues at Shir Hadash

It is expensive to run a household. It’s also expensive to run a synagogue committed to creating and sustaining a sacred community where Jewish ideals, beliefs, and values are affirmed every day.  We are blessed here at Shir Hadash with amazing clergy and staff, a highly regarded Religious school, as well as a warm and friendly congregation.  Our way of addressing the synagogue's financial needs as equitably as possible is through the Fair Share Dues Program.

  • Dues and tuition payments can be spread by equal monthly payments through April 2018 (10 if you make your first payment in July).  If you delay until September 1st, you will only be able to split your payment over 8 months.

  • Everyone who benefits from Shir Hadash should contribute fairly to the community and congregation to the best of their ability.
  • Dues are self-assessed, however, there is a minimum commitment that members are expected to meet.
  • Religious School fees are separate from membership dues and are based upon the grade level of each student.

Please recognize your obligation to our community and congregation and embrace the Fair Share Dues model.  Your honest self-assessment helps provide dues assistance to the families in our congregation whose financial circumstances do not permit them to donate at the basic level of dues.
