Family Trivia Night at Shir Hadash

    

About the Event

Shir Hadash Synagogue is proud to present Family Trivia Night to benefit the Samuel I. Andes Scholarship Fund.  All proceeds from the event will be donated to this need-based fund that is in place for those children who otherwise would not be able to attend the Shir Hadash Religious School due to economic reasons.

Trivia buffs - high school-aged and older - will enjoy this fast-paced, high energy, friendly competition!!

There will be at least six rounds of trivia with cash prizes for the top teams, plus a chance to win raffle prizes (great items donated by generous local businesses) and a 50/50 raffle!  Pizza, soft drinks and bake sale items will be available for purchase.

Free babysitting is available for children up to age 12 (tots must be potty-trained).

Not a trivia buff or can't attend, but still want to participate?  See below for other opportunities!

Registration

Register now as team of up to 8 players or register as register as a free agent to be assigned to an All Star team.

Player Information

Team participation at $72 minimum donation ($9 per single player).  Each player receives a complimentary raffle ticket, good for a chance to win fantastic prizes donated by local vendors!

You will serve as the point of contact for your team should we need to contact you prior to Trivia Night.  If you are a single player (not registering with a team), you will be assigned to an All Star team.

Pizza Pre-Order

Cheese pizzas from Joe's Pizzeria will be available for purchase at Family Trivia Night, but pre-ordering pizzas is a great way to make sure we have plenty pies available.  After all, using all that brain power can make you hungry!

Large 14" pizzas (8 slices) are $15 each.  Additional pizzas as well as soft drinks and bottled water will be available for purchase during Trivia Night.

Sponsorships Available

Sponsorship is a fantastic way to add to the excitement of Family Trivia Night, and support the Samuel I. Andes Scholarship Fund for Shir Hadash Synagogue's Religious School!  Please consider participating in one of the following sponsorships:

Evening Sponsors ($540 minimum donation)

  • Acknowledgment throughout the evening and have their name on table placards
  • One free pizza
  • Two free beverage tickets per player

Round Sponsors ($150 minimum donation)

  • *Team entry in the competition
  • *Acknowledgment at the beginning of their respective rounds, with their names appearing on the score sheets for one round
  • *Supply business cards for each competition table box
  • *Double complimentary raffle tickets and one free beverage ticket per player

Childcare Needs

Let us know if you need to take advantage of our amazing childcare - at no additional cost to you!  We are offering Free babysitting at the synagogue for children up to age 12 (tots must be potty-trained).
