About Rabbi Toby Manewith:

Rabbi Manewith has worked as a formal and informal Jewish educator, consultant, and curriculum writer for more than 25 years. Rabbi Manewith worked for Hillel: The Foundation for Jewish Campus Life for ten years, most notably as the director of both the Syracuse and American University Hillels. She has worked in synagogues in Washington, D.C., and the greater Chicagoland area as both a congregational rabbi and Director of Education. She has been a faculty member at several summer camps including Kutz, Camp Harlam, Camp Ben Frankel, and (her favorite) OSRUI. She has taken hundreds of students on trips to Israel, Ukraine, and Germany.

For the past five years, Rabbi Manewith has been a full-time edcational consultant, written curriculum for Rosh Hodesh: It's a Girl Thing, NCJW, Second Nurture, and synagogues across the country.

When not working, Rabbi Manewith makes delicious gluten free brownies, takes walks with the family dog, and sits around the fire-pit with her teenaged son.
