Please join Rabbi Schachar as we celebrate Havdalah and discuss the book The Genius of Israel by Dan Senor and Saul Singer. The book provides an understanding how a country facing so many challenges can be among the happiest and also provides surprising insights into how we can confront the crisis of community, human connectedness, and purpose in modern life. Members are encouraged to read the book prior to the event. The book is available at most libraries and book sellers. -

Calling all musicians and music lovers of all ages! Bring an instrument or pick up a shaker and help us create a special Shabbat morning, combining Torah study and jamming. For Rosh Chodesh Adar, we have a special Laughter Torah Jam with a joyful theme to prepare for Purim! We'll try laughter yoga warmups and enjoy music. Bring a humorous story or joke to tell (under 1 minute and in good taste). Afterwards, we'll have a potluck veggie/dairy lunch and relish the Shabbat morning vibes! Bring silly foods or foods that bring you joy! -

Join Shir Hadash and PJ Library at the Treehouse Play Cafe in Lake Zurich to do some Tikkun Olam! Bring some canned foods to donate and we will do a little art project in between playing. Pizza, go go sqeeze and juice will be served. Event is only $5 but you must register by February 23rd to reserve your spot. Hurry before all spots fill up!
