Join our community’s special way of welcoming our celebration of Passover. Through story, song, and even dance, we will celebrate our ancestors’ deliverance from Egyptian slavery. Our Lahaka choir will sing. Rabbi Eitan will tell Passover stories that captivate audiences of all ages by combining entertainment with some of life's most treasured values. Please bring a treat to share at the oneg. -

Join New Beginnings Church, StandWithUs, Rabbis United, The Hebrew Project and several local synagogues for a coming together of voices to tell one of the world's most inspirational stories. African American and Jewish American telling of the Passover story in song. Outstanding musicians, professional soloists, and music as diverse as cantorial, spiritual, show tunes, and hip-hop. This inaugural event is appropriate for all members of the Shir Hadash family. The event will be held at New Beginnings Church, 6620 S. King Drive, Chicago While there is no charge for the event, the suggested donation to join the group on the Shir Hadash bus is $18/person. The bus will depart from/return to a location near Shir Hadash and return (times & exact location TBD) Advance registration is required. -
