Calling all musicians and music lovers of all ages! Bring an instrument or pick up a shaker and help us create a special Shabbat morning, combining Torah study and jamming. For National Poetry Month, we have a special combo: Torah Jam & Poetry Slam! Bring a poem that speaks to you on this Shabbat morning to share. Afterwards, we'll have a potluck veggie/dairy lunch and relish the Shabbat morning vibes! -

We encourage you to attend in person if you are able and are comfortable, so that we can make a quorum required to hold the Annual Meeting. Enjoy an everybody-friendly Shabbat service for all ages led by Rabbi Schachar Orenstein and hosted by our DEI Committee! We will welcome Shabbat with music and spirit, with an emphasis on gender-expansive language. Shir Hadash is a diverse community, and we welcome everyone inclusive of identities and expressions. We are excited to launch our pre-Pride weekend with this Shabbat service--with you! -

Everyone is invited to join our new Queer Hadash social group for a BBQ (hot dogs, roasted corn, chips, and water and soda) followed by an outdoor Havdalah and songs around the campfire!
