At Shir Hadash Reconstructionist Synagogue, a Tree of Joy—a Simcha Tree—is situated in our Community Room to remind us of all the joys of our lives. The leaves come in copper, silver, and gold. Each leaf marks a lasting memory of a joyous simcha in the lives of members of Shir Hadash.  We invite you to add your loved ones’ simchas to our Tree and share your nachas with our congregation or just add your loved ones’ names out of love.

It is the perfect place to commemorate a joyous simcha in the lives of our synagogue members. Simcha Tree Leaves can be purchased to mark your special family or individual accomplishments.

Examples of Simchot (Happy Occasions) are:

When you purchase a leaf for our Simcha Tree, the tree grows and grows.
 
The minimum donation amounts for the Simcha Tree are:
 
$180.00 for a single leaf
$540 for a double leaf
$1,000 for stone

* Please note memorials should be directed to the Memorial Wall in the Sanctuary.
