Please join us for Women's Rosh Chodesh group that will be meeting on Wednesday, August 31 at 7 pm at Sandy Weiss’s home.

Rosh Chodesh is a chance for women to get together with old friends and to make new ones by participating in the ancient Jewish custom of celebrating the new moon each month. We invite all women to join us in a monthly gathering as we celebrate the new month through discussions and programs. Jewish women getting together on Rosh Chodesh is an ancient tradition that the women of Shir Hadash have chosen to carry on. This is a great way to take some time for ourselves and to recharge our own energy. Best of all, this is a great way to get to know other wonderful women in our synagogue.

We will learn about the upcoming month of Elul, connect with each other, and hopefully grow spiritually as we make the learning our own. This may include short prayers, a brief meditation, talking with each other, plenty of shmoozing, sharing treats, and of course fun.
