Yom Kippur Morning Service & Yizkor with Lahaka Choir

- Morning Service, 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.; Yizkor, 12:30 to 1:30 p.m.
At St. Joseph the Worker Social Hall
We begin with the morning service, including member readings, prayers, and music from our Lahaka choir. Then is the Yizkor service, to remember departed loved ones. - Afternoon Study Sessions, 2 to 4 p.m.
At Shir Hadash
During the afternoon, we will have several study sessions on Jewish topics that fit the holiday, led by Shir Hadash members. - followed by Minchah, Ne'ilah, and Havdalah, 4:15 to 6:30 p.m.
At Shir Hadash
Finally, we will return to services together, for the Mincha afternoon service and the Ne’ilah concluding service.
Our theme this year is Avodah Shebalev—A Path With Heart. Welcome the new year with Rabbi Schachar Orenstein and the Shir Hadash community. May this season invite each of us to bring our whole selves: our questions, our gratitude, our regrets, and our hopes — and offer them as heartfelt service.
